Throw it east, throw it the way the sun rise [rises]. Go to de north cormer of de house and throw it for nine mawnin's over your left shoulder and don't look back. And the last mawnin' that you throw it, that candle'll burn - will go out. They goes on out - that drowns 'em out, you see.
